    Hello All!

We are just sitting down to plan our ‘to bring list’ and was curious if anyone knows if there is an accessible way to connect a laptop to the television in the room? Thinking that we may wish to view ‘movies’ that we have curated on our own or even to play music through the television from YouTube as well. HDMI access?

    Any insight would be great?

since you can order room service from the TV's it would stand to reason that they would be smart tv's in the room. I'm packing an HDMI just in case.

Agreed, but there are often hotels we have visited that are wall mounted and inaccessible or have less ports as they try to sell their pay per view, understandably.

The TV pulls out from the cabinet and you can access the HDMI port, now as far as getting through the preprogrammed TTR BS to make what you want to work that's another story.

My husband managed to set up some kind of screen mirroring to the TV, using his phone and the resort's wi-fi, so we could use online services (e.g. Netflix) to watch stuff in the room. It worked great. I think we had a laptop with us last year and used a HDMI.

The other good thing is, if you can "cast" or "mirror" from your phone, and have DishAnywhere, you arent stuck with spanish speaking TV.
