Hey guys! :wave: We now have 12 people from Chicago going for sure and just booked the trip today! YAHOO! Our group is totally ready to get our "Temptation On!" and we are looking to get to know others who will be there the same days as us! We arrive on Tuesday, August 31st and depart on Sunday, September 5th! Not sure how we get a Booze Cruise started for a day during our trip, but we'd love some feedback and some more info! you guys are well on your way to having enough to do a booze cruise - once it gets little bit closer steve will step in an get you all the details he usually likes to have about 30 people minimum to do one there are also a lot of cancuncare regulars that go over labor day weekend. i know that we have done a cancuncare booze cruise the last three labor day weekends t and i are not sure if we are going ot make labor day weekend or not this year as some of our friends want us to go to cabo for a change and some of our friends are planning a big ski trip in the winter so will see rob/t
We normally fix booze cruise dates about a month in advance, but no harm in getting some chat going already. It most likely will be a little unusual this year Labor's Day trip as our baby is due on Sept 3rd, slap bang in the middle of things. We can still arrange a cruise no problem but chances are I (and certainly Jannet) will need to give it a miss other than me being there at the start of the day to help with the check in.
My husband and I went to Temptations Cabo in 2008 when it was still Desire. It really was fantastic! The only thing that sucks is that they built a hotel RIGHT NEXT DOOR and it's SO CLOSE you feel like the rooms of the other hotel/condos are right on top of the pool. Kinda feels over-powering. The other thing we didn't like is that the ocean on that side of Los Cabos is so trecherous that you can not swim there at all! They have FATAL signs everywhere. You can definitely walk up and down the beach but to swimming past your ankles. Everything else is beautiful and Downtown CABO San Lucas is great...that's where you can swim off of Nikki Beach. hear ya :icon_cool: if we go to cabo would probably just stay at the riu there and just chill most of the day and then hit cabo wabo and squid row every night.......and most importantly go to my fav rest on the planet.............ediths :icon_cool:
Its my birthday Aug 31st & we went on Steve's cruise 2 yrs ago and it was the the best birthday I've had!! So if theres a cruise to be had - we're up for it - we arrive Aug 30th this year. :aktion033: Jus need to get my indy buddies to fetch some Dramamine cuz my poor hubby gets VERY motion sick!! The Dramamine was the only thing that fixed him last time (thanks to Steve's lovely wife Janet who got them for him) - we tried patches and everything!! Max xxxxx
