Can anyone please share your experience with booking TTR through Kenwood Travel? Were you charged any additional fees upon arrival and check in? Any problems? Thanks!

Yes, their prices are great. It makes us wonder if there is a catch to it. We thought the same with Alpharooms, but had no problems.

We are checking Kenwood as well and see comparatively wicked pricing. Tempting, but hopefully not a case of too good to be true.

I actually contacted Kenwood via email and this was their response:

    ------------------------------------
    Thank you for your email.

Unfortunately are rates are for UK passport holders only. The hotel will charge you more, if you check in with US passports.

    Many thanks
    --------------------------------

So who is brave enough to book with them and see if there's any issues during check-in? :)

This is the reason Alpharooms U.S. prices went way up, to reflect the price in US dollars, instead of UK pounds.

Think they pissed off TTR since non members like myself, were paying much less per night (generally speaking) than members. At least thats what we were told in Nov. in the Premiere office.

The most we've paid through AR was $162 a night, and that was in April.
