One of the nights is a karaoke night at Nice Shoes. They have it as a compitition format. Alot of fun if you haven't lost your voice yet.
Zurc- losing our voice is just pro forma it seems- between the talking, laughing, and drinking it always seems to fade a bit. Still fun! Cheers! Nick (and the hoarse Kitty)tm
Thing is though people who sing are just awesome, so I was glad afterwards I didn't sign up in the end - my singing is just terrible. I think there's a few bars downtown that do karaoke some nights of the week. We went to a restaurant/bar in the hotel zone, Pancho & Willys that does karaoke, but only certain nights of the week. Unfortunately we went on the wrong night!
HAHAHA!! Yes, Karaoke night on Tuesday is a blast - my husband entered at the beginning of March ... it was awesome and made a fan in Sara as she strapped herself to his leg for the duration of the song and a bra :flash: very large one was thrown on stage ... don't get excited - it was Jose's LOL!! .... all great fun, Tequila shots - what more could you ask for!! :cheerleaders:
In my experience it is as much about finding a song everyone knows as being able to sing well. I do ok, but when the crowd gets into it the whold thing is just on another level. Love it. Nick (and the groupie Kitty)tm
I am proud to say I have won both times we've been. If you are there October 26th -November 3rd, come cheer me on!!!! I want to make it three!! I love me some karaoke!
