Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street AMAZING. Johnny Depp= amazing as always. Helena Bonham Carter= very, very good in this... the part is just her. I loved the number of Harry Potter people in this movie :lotsoflove: The music was very good and we were def. singing the songs afterwards. It started off a little slow, but it's well worth it.
I wondered if this would be any good.. Loads of Harry Potter characters in the movie.. Well, i'm going by the preview, so may be even more than I think.. I shall wait till it comes out on dvd though, as I need to save all my money for Cancun.. Well, with the exception of a little money for tomorrow lol..
i agree :lotsoflove: we walked out of the theater and my best friend said "wow, johnny depp is just a really good actor.. he transforms so easily" i was like thank you!! this is what i have been saying all along haha

there was a theatre production here in toronto in nov/dec and apparently it wasnt that great. no sets just actors on stage, i think it ruined it for a lot of people. unfortunately i didnt get a chance to see it. but me thinks that the movie was cast superbly. someone else was originally supposed to play sweeney todd, ugh cant remember who russel crowe maybe. couldnt even imagine.
I agree Kait....I am a huge Johnny Depp fan, and I wasn't disappointed in him at all.....Helena Bonham Carter was FANTASTIC in it though. I was impressed.....
yes, im starting to like her more and more in these weird roles... this and bellatrix lestrange in harry potter
