Just some pointer on booking on expedia.com for better deal

I have tried to play around with the dates for the week of Aug 27th to Sep 4th for a trip of 5 days and 4 nights.
I usually just go on Bundle and Save options that they have and keep changing the date and time to find the best deal. All the options are still alright but not good enough. But It still goes from $1900 to $2200/couple. Good day then not good flight and the other way around. So I decided to books just the flight and book Temptation Room elsewhere. So I pick the round trips flight that we wanted then just for curiosity reason I selected "Add a hotel" and bam come out the package deal is $500 less when I book like that. My trip is only $1475 total with the flight that we wanted from Los Angeles, Aug 29th to Sep 2nd. We get in at 3pm on the 29th and leave at 5pm on the 2nd. Just my 2 cents on it hope it could help.

Good to know, I'll keep that in mind next time. I book thru Orbitz usually. I mess around with the dates, and flight times like you were talking about. However, I don't like to book online. I would rather talk to a person, and just make sure of all the details. One time, she said the price isn't locked in until we are finshed, and run the card, she said it's subject to change at any time. We'll while we were going thru the details, she said the price did change. It actually went down a little. Wasn't much, but it was still kind of cool.

if you use ebates you can get cash back from a lot of places like expedia ..it says up to 7 percent didn't look at the details
I use them for everything even our parking at the airport

 

Keep meaning to start using ebates! Free money means more vacations!

 

Been using Ebates for a while, last trip booked through Expedia for a package air/hotel 3.5% back is a little over $116.00 USD. It gets paid after travel quarterly.

my ebates stuff goes straight to pay pal ..then I generally use it for stuff for our vacations lol last time I bought our glow in the dark body paint with it ..hehe

 

That's the way I have ours set up too. I agree with what was said earlier it's free money.
