Just lost my other half...going alone again now

Well, 44 hours before take off in Toronto, but due to health issues, my friend had to cancel on me. I knew it could happen to her but have no back up plan...She has a completely legit excuse...just sucks

Now I have this member's room paid for and big bed to myself...well I paid for it anyways but I don't have anyone to share it with...oh ya, even a deposit for the Boobs Cruise on the 10th...

The good news...I've been to TTR on my own twice before, so I'm not worried. But...if someone really wanted to go from Toronto...I might be able to be enticed.

 

Sorry to hear that Nathan. Although I'm not in Toronto and if I could break away from my responsibilities here I'd go. Even if you don't find a travel partner, you and I both know you will have a great time...... Party it up for me my friend.

 

Thanks Carol...you were the first person I thought of contacting actually...but getting to Toronto from where you're at I figured would be far.

Already working on a back up plan though...I think I have someone...

But now the question is...with less than 2 days before I arrive, and this day the office is closed...what is the change policy for me changing the name on the room...I can't find out...anyone have any experience

 

You should be able to do it right at the counter. In April they didn't have Jeremy's name and they just took his info there since I had paid for an extra prior.

 

The hotel is easier to change,, flights are not

 

Good to know I've got my travel agent working on Westjet now...so...we'll see

 

We checked into the hotel under someone else's name, so don't worry about the hotel part of it.

 

That sucks Nathan but the bright side you have a pad to youre self.

Question for every one , I was browsing and the price really varys , If I go solo which 99.9% I ma Its 1500 alone.

If i share the room with a person Its 1 k .

When I book cant I just say Im sharing the room with another person when In reality Im not ?

You can do that if you pay 2X$1000 rate

As far as booking with or without someone...it's $1000 per person...and thats because of the flight...the room is $1000 and the flight is $500 each...so by splitting the room it drops the price...basically no...singles pay more because you're not sharing the cost of the space.

And I'm born and raised in Montreal...of course I'm rocking the habs colours!
