Just return a few hours ago and thought I would give a warning. On our 3 day at Temptation I was followed into the restroom by the check in desk by a man. After telling him to get out he left but came back in. After 3 times I was yelling for security. Talk to security but I can't think he understood me. Two days later I was telling friends about the incident and a friend of theirs was pulled into the men's restroom. Once we talked we found out it was the same guy. We went to the manager and he was kicked out. But....please beware of going on your own. After the guy was removed the rest of vacation was great.
Was he staying at the resort, or a local? Seems like someone on security staff should have noticed some guy lurking around the lobby.
What a creep. Had he grabbed my wife he would have gotten more than he could have handled...she's fiesty! Sorry you experienced that and thanks for the heads up!
In the 8 times we have been there I have never thought twice about going somewhere at Temptation by myself. Now I never will. Don't want it to happen to anyone else.
Remember, security is everyone's business. Keep an eye and ear out for your spouse and friends. They will surely do the same for you.
I have to say this OUTSTANDING!!!! Job dealing with this situation. For others thinking or reading this remember the most important thing when in foreign countries. 1. When confronted by an intoxicated and unruly or Creepy individual in a foreign country, report the issue do not engage, Numbers work for you here take friends with you to report. 2. Do not initiate or make physical contact with the individual except after they have made an attempt at violence and then subdue do not strike when possible. 3. If you are forced to make contact with the police in Mexico for something of this scope take MANY friends to make the report. I would take no less than 6-8 people to make the report, you want an overwhelming amount of people corroborating your story. Try and take a hotel employee if possible. 4. Most situations like this can be stopped before they ever get to this point by a clear threat to go to security early on in the situation, followed by going when they ignore it. 5.6.7.8.9.10. This is Mexico not America the same rights and expectations do not apply, don't ever expect it too. Assume the worst and act accordingly with the issues, at hand. Physical Violence of any sort here can and will land you in jail even self-defense so make sure it is worth going to that extreme before you do. This is just a reminder too folks that forget this. You guys did a great job handling the creeper.
We just had a week at TTR and were not "bothered" by the single guys although one really drunk one didn't want to take the hint until I got a little more aggressive in my "not interested " reply..... However it is just OHO that management needs to cut down on the amount of single guys that seem to be there as it is changing the vibe at the resort and the ladies are not as ready to "let their hair down" with so many single guys drooling in their beer over the ladies outfits etc .
