JUNKYARD??

Is there a decent place where dead cars go, where one might scavenge some hard to get little parts?

And please don't suggest Rivergirl's house. It is not a junkyard.

Actually my house is a disaster area right now...but at least all our cars are in working order.

Hubby says that junkyards are called Deshuesaderos and that he thinks there are several way out on Lopez Portillo near the beginning of the road to Merida.

There's one in the phone book listed under Refacciones that is called El Milagro, it's at KM 309 on Carretera Cancun-Merida. Tel: 209-3298
There are a couple of others listed in the phone book as well.

I know they are out there but, i used to go as far out as km 90 regularly and never saw the junkyards...... Good luck!
