Hello Everyone. I’m Mark from Wirral, England. I’m planning on organising a trip to Mexico to stay at the Temptations Resort. The group will consist of a mix of male and females 23-26 year old (mostly single). Was thinking of going around June/July time? Is this the best time of year to meet lots of new people around the same age group, I was hoping to meet lots of American’s as well. Is the weather nice and hot :?: Went to India in 07 with a large group and had a great time but fancied somewhere a little more lively. I like the sound of the fun and games round the “Sexy Pool” I take it the more adult orientated entertainment is there only if you want it? I’m certainly not shy but can’t speak for the whole group. I’d also like to see some sights (ruins), go on a boat trip, snorkel and possibly learn to dive. Are these all easily arranged from the Hotel? Since it’s all inclusive I’d like to know a rough price so I can budget these extra’s into my saving. Thanks all for any help.
Hi Mark! My best mate & I have been the last week of Aug-1st week Sep the past 2 years and it has been brilliant. More so this yr, a lot more young singles and the majority of us that met up this yr are going back next yr :lol: can't wait!! To be honest, it doesn't matter what age group you meet - everyone is so nice you could literally go on your own and have loads of people to talk to after your first day. Everyone chats to everyone and everyone is there to have FUN! And yes, the entertainment is there for you to participate if you want to, no one forces you. The ents cast will generally go round the pool asking but one "no thanks" and thats all they need. You can take part of just lie back (or prop up the swim up bar) and enjoy the show As they say at Temptations........ NOBODY KNOWS YOU - AND NOBODY GIVES A SHIT!! T Oh and, I couldn't comment on exact prices I'm afraid, both yrs we have spent 2 weeks there and not moved out the hotel during the day once! Planned to swim with dolphins both trips and never managed. We only ventured out at night time to the clubs - some of the best nights you will ever have!
Thanks for that. So would you say june/july is a quiet time? I'm excited to go but a lot of the group have had a look at it on the internet and are saying it looks a little too much like a swingers hotel!! I said so what? If people want to do that fine its not like you'll have to step over couples having sex to get to the bar!!
a stayed in Temptation wae ma mates there was 17 of us from 15th june 09 for 2 weeks and it was the best 2 weeks eva wat a laugh u get round the pool with gd mixed company some of the stuff that happens is madness
Nah, don't think it's quiet June/July at all, just know its fab in Aug Exactly!! We were a bit apprensive before our first trip last yr but it was nothing like some of the bad reports we had heard at all - we wouldn't have gone back this yr otherwise and wouldn't be going back again next yr!! You won't see anything you wouldn't see on an 18-30s hol. It's just mad, mental fun for adults - no kids running around and it's one of the few hotels in Cancun where topless is allowed. Mark, I am from Ireland and we were at Temptation in July. Our group was 22-25. It's definately not a swingers hotel. It's much better than goin to a hotel full of kids. We liked it so much that we have booked again for next july. I would say that 80% of the guests are American. There are plenty of people aged 20-30 staying at the hotel in july. However for young single people the nightly entertainment in the hotel is poor but the hotel bring you out to the clubs for $50 dollars. (that includes 1 way transport, entry to club and drinks). The entertainment in the hotel in the day time is great fun, there is literally always something going on. In the 2 weeks that we stayed we only witnessd 1 couple having sex on their balcony- it's against the rules of the hotel. The food is very good, the hotel is lovely and the staff treat you like royality. Excursions are easily organised from the hotel.
