Just got back from our first trip to Temptations. Overall, we had a great time, particularly on the Boobs Cruise. But, for a place that prides it self on being judgement free, we sure ran into a lot of judgmental assholes. As a couple, we have a bit of an age gap. We are used to getting stares we we go out, but it's nothing we can't handle. But, at the resort, on multiple occasions, we overheard people making loud comments. And, on the Boobs Cruise, several people even had the nerve to ask my girl if ours was a financial relationship. As you can imagine, this caused us a little discomfort. Overall, the trip was great, and we ran into way more awesome people that assholes. But it only takes one to ruin your day.
What?!! People are assholes and they need to keep this shit to themselves or don't travel to TTR!! Sorry you had to run into a few them! Hope you had a great time overall. My bf and I have traveled there 2x and loved it! Plan to go back maybe next year.
I'm sorry to hear that. I don't have a life situation like yours that I can relate too, but generally speaking the ignorant things people say, its amazing... Id take that as an opportunity to start roasting someone until they felt bad about what they said,. Im respectful but not a nice person If I were you, there would be no stopping me from saying .. "No I dont make much money actually, thats not it I dont think... What about you guys, did she not tell you she stopped her birth control?"
Yep. It happens. Overwhelming majority of TTR folks are cool people, but yeah, there are always some assholes, and also some pretty cliquish groups.
The resort by and large attracts people who would not act like that. Nothing to do about it but ignore it...people who don’t know how to act don’t deserve a second thought. Luckily, running across low class people like you described is rare at Temptation.
Thanks for all the kind comments. I generally let the opinions and comments of others roll off my back, but my girl, being a little younger, and with less life experience, is more sensitive to it. In the end, it was a great trip, we had a blast, and it really helped advance our relationship. At the start of the trip, I thought I loved her, and wanted to get to know her better. By the end, I knew I did, and can see a real future for us. So, I guess we get the last laugh!
