Ok I am a dressy jeans, slinky top kind of girl..my husband jeans with nice polo shirts..was wondering if these would be allowed in the restaurants or not? I would hate for us to not be able to go to any as I have heard that they're pretty good..

If you check the web site it specificly says no jeans in the specialty restraunts. Knowing how some resorts (not necessarily TTR) enforce some rules at times and not at others, I would bring some dress pants just in case.

Just my opinion, but if my wife gets dressed to the max to go to dinner ( usually with a dress or two that she bought especially for our vacation) I can at least dress in something different than the same jeans she sees me in every day. I'm not trying to p**s anyone off, but don't complain if some cranky guy at the door turns you away in jeans, or flip-flops(it has happened when I was there in the past). I feel that the resort is trying to make the specialty restraunts a different experience than the buffet. Again, just my opinion. I'm not trying to tell anyone what they should wear.
I think if you search the archives you will find that this topic has been discussed before and there are others who feel the same as I do. Larry

    Larry,
I think you will have some people agree with you and some that say they paid a lot of money for their vacation and as long as they dont look sloppy they should be able to wear what they want for dinner... I have done both, I have worn dress pants and nice shirt, only to turn around and change yet again to go out for the evening, So I am one that will just wear a pair of dark jeans and a dress shirt... I completely understand your point of view and do not disagree with ya, just think you would get many different opinions on the subject.... after all these trips ive never been turned away from the restaurants, I would never try to go to the restaurants with out putting some effort into looking good....
