Quick question! As we are 28 days away from our trip (YAHOOOO!) I am helping my group out by getting a packing list together and one of the guys asked if he can wear Jeans with a nice shirt & nice shoes (like a club look) to dinner? Does anyone know if men can wear nice jeans to dinner or is it ONLY khakis and black dress pants? Also, can women wear dressy flip flops to dinner? I mean ones that are either with a heal or a nice wedge with some “bling” on it versus just the $3 Old navy rubber flip flops you’d wear around the pool? THANKS GUYS!!!! I asked the same question before our trip, and that helped me pack. Yes he can wear jeans to dinner....my guy wore either a polo type shirt or short sleeve fitted collarless shirt (dressier than a t shirt)...and black sneakers are even ok, as long as it's not sandals or flip flops. Oh and I wore nice "dressy" flip flops to dinner once, like you described, with a 4" wedge and some bling on it and there wasnt a problem.
i wore jeans and a nice shirt to dinner at the chinese. it was not a collared shirt but a trendy printed tshirt. but they frown upon flip flops. i always take a pair of comfortable lace up steve maddens. frank after i posted this i realized my avatar was taken with the shirt i wore that nite to chinese!! lol
On our last trip there we seen a couple on the beach wearing just jeans and flip flops. Apparently waiting for a room. I thought that looked just fine. I have long been a fan of women in jeans and nothing else.
Can you wear Jeans, at the restaurant, the answer is yes. I wear jeans all the time at home. When I go to the specialty Restaurant the wife gets all dressed and looks good! It just seems like it is the right thing to do the same. Some of the jeans I have seen worn at the resort looked like the guy just came in from the field. Just saying, not trying to offend. Cal

Yeah, Jen always gets dressed up, so I bring a few pair of khaki pants and nice shoes and polo shirts so she doesn't make me look too bad.
I took jeans with me but never put them on. After being in the sun all day, thin breathable slacks just seemed to make much more sense. And they made for better pix of us.
