Honestly we have been to Temptations 3 times and are headed back there in February and have never seen a fight! :lol:
We've never seen a fight either. The closest thing to a fight was a creeper with a camera that didn't know when to quit. But cooler heads kept things from getting out of hand.
Saw a fight on our last trip. About 8 am, two guys out of a group of five or so got into it with each other for some reason after an all-nighter.
fights only good "disturbance" about 5 years ago or so---- to much "liquid leadership" was escorted back to his room.
Saw one guy get into it with someone when we were there - he was being rude and disrepectful to his wife of all things - calling her a bitch, a "ho", etc. and she was clearly unhappy about it, and several guys got in his face and told him to stop. He then, of course in a state of being over-served, squared up and started shouting about how it was his right to treat "his bitch" as he wanted - and at that point about five guys grabbed him, hauled him to the edge of the pool and "detained" him until security arrived. We heard later that security helped the wife retrieve her belongings from their room and catch a flight out - not sure where it went after then. We never saw him again after the security gang yanked him. But no true fights at all - people are relaxing and having a good time.
Been there double digit times and never seen a fight or really anything even close to a fight. I think generally speaking its pretty uncommon. I'm sure a few times a year the resort gets some guy who is a little to touchy feely after being liqoured up and does cause some issues like any resort. But far from norm.. What OP is talking about chances are happen quite frequently but I think alot of those conversation happen back at the room, between the wife and husband or boyfriend and girlfriend. Takes two too flirt for more then a couple sentences. So blame can be put on both sides.
Fights I have been there almost double digit times and I too have never seen an all out fight, Ive seen a couple punches thrown but I have always been impressed with the hotel security, ive seen tensions get out of hand to the point where it looked as if a fight would ensue, then security " which is always around, some plain clothed , some in uniform" came in to squash it, ive seen guys be escorted to what almost looked like a holding cell by the maids laundry room, and ive seen some escorted right through the front door.... I agree with the rests of the posters also, most are laid back and enjoying their trip and then some just do not want to take a chance of getting kicked out of the hotel or going to a secret room in mexico or even worse a mexican jail ha ha...
When we were there in Feb. (3rd trip) we saw a guy push a security guard in the pool and then ran. He was chased down and taken to jail I think he was still drunk from the night before. He was from Canada and he wanted to fight americans and mexicans I think he was in the wrong place for that one. On the same trip a drunk was trying to mess with "T" while doing morning aerobics in the pool he was asked to leave.
