My wife and i have pretty much decided on Temptations for a winter getaway. Our travel agent told us prices will be good as well as the weather for the first week of January. Does this sound right ? We don't need the resort to be packed but hope to meet some people there. I have heard of some meal options at the resort, can someone explain ? I understood it was all inclusive. The only option i thought of was a upgrade to a jacuzzi room. Thanks Randy
We have gone the third week of January twice now and both times it was about 80 degrees and sunny the whole time (perfect for New Yorkers) We never left the pool. We did have friends this year that came for 2 weeks and the week before we arrived I guess it rained and was cold for about half of it. You do take a chance coming in January but as long as you plan ahead (a pair of pants, maybe a sweater, the girl brings a few pairs of stockings/cover ups to wear with her sexy dresses) you should be fine. As for food, there is food available pretty much all day. The buffet is open for B, L, D. Also there is a snack buffet open for lunch and another at Patty O's if you just want to make a plate and take it to your room. Late night hamburgers/fries too. Also included is a sit down lunch restaurant and all of the sit down dinner places (Asian, Italian, Seafood, and Tex Mex). The only things not included is you can pay extra to upgrade to a lobster dinner in all of the sit down restaurants or at an optional dinner on the beach and if you want to order a bottle of wine with dinner it is extra (house wine and all martini's or mixed drinks are still all inclusive).
