We're planning to run cruises on the following dates in January 2015. February dates will be announced at the end of December Saturday 3rd January - deposits open here Sunday 11th January - deposits open here Wednesday 14th January - deposits open here Sunday 18th January - deposits open here Thursday 22nd January - deposits open here Monday 26th January - deposits open here Saturday 31st January - deposits open here Each cruise will open up for deposits one month before. So 3rd January will open for deposits on 3rd December etc. etc. We always aim to open at 1pm Cancun time. Each time a cruise opens a sign up thread will be posted and I'll link to it from here and from the relevant monthly roll call. Each cruise will need 25 deposits paid to reach confirmed status, and the maximum for each cruise is 70. If we don't reach confirmed status one week before the proposed date, then all deposits are refunded and the cruise is cancelled. Rationale for chosen dates: We have a little bit of a slow period a few days after after New Year before it picks back up again. From the middle of the month onwards the numbers are fairly constant with about 50 people at the hotel each day. So once we get to mid month we'll run every 4-5 days I assess the numbers from the roll calls and various other threads and they don't take account of: - people who didn't add their dates to the roll call - new people who join between now and the cruise date - people who want to do more than one cruise - couples who are also bringing friends (have been counted as two) - folks staying at GOV, Desire or other hotels in Cancun - people who predominantly hang out at the Cancuncare/TTR Facebook group - people who book via our cancunboobsruise.com website - email requests from people who don't publicly post anywhere. So, it follows that my figures are probably a large underestimate of the actual number of people who will be in Cancun that have a connection with cancuncare in one way or another. Lets see how interest in the dates above go, we may have to make tweaks as time progresses depending on interest and feedback.
