Finally decided on dates and now trying to decide on the room. I love, love jacuzzi suites and from what I understand these are located in a quieter area of the resort? Is that correct? I read like crazy and would love a quiet place to relax sometimes. It would also be fun to invite friends to hang out and have drinks. Is that allowed/frowned upon? Newbie with so many questions...
Not frowned upon at all to have friends over for drinks-unless you close the curtains . Yes, the jacuzzi suites are around the quiet pool which is a great location. Close to everything, yet quiet. I have never personally had a jacuzzi suite but they sound like glorified bath tubs. If money were no issue I would be book one just for the location!
Curtis and I stay in the Jacuzzi suite. We love it. The Jacuzzi is a large bathtub on the patio with jets. Comfortable for two, but we have had 3 & 4 in there before. Many "balcony shows" take place on these patios. That is why it is frowned upon if you lower the shades. LOL. We shut ours from time to time, but only if it is raining and the cold rain is splashing in on us. Some rooms have double headed showers, but the jacuzzi suites have a single shower head. The rooms are big enough for as long as you spend in the room when you are on vacation. Dawn
lynnshaun is correct. Even the part about being frowned on with the curtains closed We had a jacuzzi room our first year at TTR and to be honest we never used it and it's rather small. If you are looking for peace and quiet that will definately be where you want to stay.Personally we like being close to PatyO's and near all the action
I don't know if anyone that goes to TTR reads like crazy...but if that's what you like then you might enjoy the quiet area with the jacuzzi. We prefer the rooms around Patyo's :lotsofmichaelfs:
We had the jacuzzi room last year and loved it. Good way to relax/rest before the craziness of the night
We have read all the pros and cons about the jacuzzi rooms. We are staying in a jacuzzi room this year and we are looking forward to it!
Depending on how long you are staying, you can also consider upgrading to the drops of love package. It was a flat price.. at the time 400. We were there for 10 days so it was cheaper than just the jacuzi room upgrade for 10 days, plus it gives you a 30 min couples massage, lobster diner in your room, and member status while you are there ( room service, top shelf liquor (lol), make reservations for any of the restaurants without waiting in line, etc)
Thanks Xraider - I had seen that, but wasn't sure what the benefits were. I'm not at all a closed-curtain kind of girl even if I do read a lot, lol.
