Hey All, The wife and I are thinking of upgrading to a jacuzzi suite if there are still some available for the end of April (22-27). We already booked a standard room, is it best to wait till you get there and try to "haggle" a price for this upgrade ? Jacuzzi fun on the balcony...can you really put a pricetag on that ??? lol
Jacuzzi Rooms have the jacuzzi on the balcony. I believe that Jacuzzi Suites are the two rooms at the end of the block by the quiet pool that have the huge balconies over looking the beach.
Yes they are. We have one for the end of March. We were upgraded last year for free, but this year we had to pay extra. Its worth the extra space and beach access. (Just a little jump over the balcony). Beautiful patio for the guys to hang out on while us girls get ready for dinner
You read our minds but we might beat you to it by two days. If so we'd have to come up with some type of compromise.

are they still called balconies if the "balcony" is actually on the ground? ... just asking lol i believe if their is a wall / railing then i think it count's as 1 lol
If we are talking jacuzzi room (and I think that us what you all are looking for with the jacuzzi on the balcony) then I would wait until arrival and try for the $50 a night rate. We have gotten it every time we tried. They will likely try to sell it to you for up to $100 a night. If a jacuzzi room is a must for you then you can try emailing the resort in advance and ask if the upgrade is available. In that situation I would expect to pay $100 a night. Last end of April / early may we did the email in advance route as we were worried about availability. We asked for the $50 a night rate and they countered with $100 a night but drops of love package too which included a jacuzzi treatment (candles, bath salts, roses), a private dinner on the beach, a massage and guaranteed dinner reservations.
