Another question. (I promise I won't be as annoying when some of you meet me in Feb) Are the jaquzzi rooms worth the upgrade? Are they all on the balcony? Sounds like heaven.
Yes they are on the balcony = no privacy. Just a pull down blind which passers by can see around. I have seen people getting in their jacuzzis with swimming costumes on! Defeats the object surely. And if you go in summer, just think of all those jolly little mosquitos! Sounds like hell LOL :daisy:
We got one last year, but only because the Ms. Temptation winner of the week gave us the room because she won it as part of the prize and was leaving the next day. Kelsey was the runner up, so she gave it to Kelsey for being a good sport. It was really cool, but not worth spending the extra money on in my opinion.
If you like to put on balcony shows then their great. Dec and Jan they can have a plus side as the evenings arrive soon (4;30 ish) and are cool. The tub lets you warm up and stay ''awake'' until supper time. You can also wait till you get their and try and get a deal at the desk
They also guarantee your room will be around the quiet pool and not all the early morning/late night noise from the Paty'O party - if that is a concern.
I've never once had a problem with mosquitos at TTR, and have been in February, April, May, July, August, September and October. That being said, the jacuzzis are out on the balcony, so the "usual" way to got hot tubbing will have you undressed in front of everyone, but hell, that's how we spend most of the time at TTR anyway, so what's the problem... The "room" itself isn't much different, it just has the jacuzzi tub on the balcony, which is really a porch, to my way of thinking.
I agree with Donald, the jacuzzi rooms are great if you are at TTR in the winter months, as the sun sets around the sexy pool pretty darn early, and it gets too chilly to be in the pool. It's nice to retire to a hot jacuzzi with a glass of wine after a long grueling day at the sexy pool The jacuzzis are 2-person jacuzzi BATHTUBS, not hot tubs, BTW. The Temptation Suites have the tub indoors in the bathroom, but I have seen posts where people say the outdoor tubs are preferable.
Mosquitos will find me and eat me alive ANYWHERE- they can probably pick my scent up from miles away. In Cancun? In July anyway, there aren't any. I love it!
Not Worth It Jo and I had a Jacuzzi room first trip and it was by the quiet pool and it was ok. But not worth the money. We used it once just because we paid for it took for ever to fill and was not clean. So I wouldn't get it again. Funny thing (I put some bubble bath in it for Jo was going to be all romantic and stuff and when I came out it was like a Brady Bunch episode bubbles every where and I mean every where .About 3 feet of bubble on the porch and about 5' in the tub itself. We got in and hell I couldn't find Jo  Now another couple we went with got the Jacuzzi room last year and they had a terrible time with smokers on the floors above them flicking ash off the balcony and it was filling their tub every day.So they finally had to change rooms. beside your never gonna be in your room that much ,its just a place to have sex or pass out. if you want to have a Jacuzzi try and meet someone who has one and use theirs.:cheerleaders:
Never got a room for the week with one, but have been in a room with them. I don't think they are worth it at all. It's a jetted bathtub. fits one comfortably. 2 is a little squishy. Put 4 in there and you'll be able fit about a gallon of water before it's overflowing.
