Jacuzzi closing for re-tiling

Some Kind person has mentioned the Jacuzzi will be getting re-tiled for Desire turn over.
.Does any one one the dates it will be closed ?

The jacuzzi work is going to be during the last couple of weeks of April.

 

Not pleased to hear about this at all - Hopefully this will not interrupt our vacation in Mid April.

 

Hey Don, I have the 1-800 # if you want it. It is for Desires`s Cancun, but you can then be transferred to Cabo. It is how call TTR toll free from Canada.

 

Our Expedia agent called the resort this morning and spoke with Jose. He told her that there is some construction going on to prepare the place for the change to Desire on May 1, but he assured that that the pool/hot tub would both be functional and ready for use by April 14. So...who knows?

 

During the time the jacuzzi is going to be closed for re-surfacing, they are suppose to open some of the jacuzzi rooms for the guests to use and also have either a temporary bar or drink service available in that area. This will happen sometime during the 2nd half of April.

 

Already have a Jaccuzzi room

I also heard the power is constantly going off at night

TTR Cancun is sold out for that time frame,so I guess were going to brave it out.

We have called the resort and confirmed, sold out for the 14 and the 20th , so can't get consecutive days in our 13/23/2012 window...May try Hedo lol


To top it off Orbits/American Airlines has just cancel my flights and the new flights and lay overs or 18 hours.

 

I called and sent email and they said the Hottub would definitely be open during the week of April 14th. But who knows.
