Any iTunes Mexico users, does it support the streaming radio feature? Is it possible to access my iTunes USA account from a computer connected to the internet in Mexico? Anyone know if Pandora is accessible from Mexico? Thanks for the help.
You can connect to your US iTunes account from Mexico with no problem. You can stream radio via iTunes with no problem. You cannot connect to Pandora unless you use a proxy server to hide your IP. Same for HULU and most of the Big 3 Network streams.
Mixz1, have you used a proxy server here successfully? I've tried a couple and they bogged my system down.
I don't understand your issues in terms of "bogged my system down". A proxy should have zero impact on your computer's performance. If you mean that you had slow response to URL requests through the proxy, you were probably using a free proxy which can usually work for certain site access, but not so good for streaming content. I use a pay proxy, and I suggest you read http://proxy.org/ and Public Proxy Servers to become familiar with what's out there. I know Steve uses a pay proxy to view certain sports sites streamed from the UK. Which brings up the caution that you have to make sure the IP you get proxied is within the geographic block allowed to view the stream, i.e. Steve's proxied IP shows the BBC that he's in the UK. If you used it, Hulu would not deliver the latest CSI Miami to you because they'd think your IP was in the UK and they only stream to the US.
