Was planning our September trip to Temptations, but after reading a lot on here about the great food and beach we are now considering the Golden . Anybody else going in September to the Golden ?
You will love Golden! The beach is beautiful.... staff is awesome and food is great. The tiki Bar is a lot of fun at night but it is nothing like TTR. We really love both resorts but love the social side of TTR.
Well said Lisa.... They are completely different. If you want the sexy vibe, guaranteed go to TTR. If you want better food, a great beach and a chance for a sexy vibe go to GP.
For the second trip in a row we will be splitting our trip. Sometimes the sexy vibe at TTR can be a little over the top for us but thinking about going to Cancun without any of it leaves us wanting as well. We have been to TTR 4 times and GP twice. This trip our friends booked at GP and we then booked to join them Thankfully because of a flight change I now need a room for one night sounds like a good excuse to start our trip off with some Temptation madness then we can calm down and enjoy the beach with a more reserved crowd at GP for the subsequent nights. I highly suggest splitting your trip if your undecided its only a $15 cab ride to make the switch and you can get a feel for both. both places are what you make of them. We have hung back and not mingled at TTR and been bored and we have started off toplessness and body shots at GP. Both places are fantastic and both have fanatic things the other doesn't offer. The beach at GP is out of this world straight off a post card however it is a older crowd and no real party durring the day. The fun carefree party at TTR is like I'm 21 and at spring break all over again however the beach is like a local lake. Go to 1 go to both most importantly go and have the time of your life.
GP or Temptations We are undecided. Married 35 years, mid 50's. Have vacationed nude all over the world but don't have the time this trip. Love good food, great beach. Is GP top free and thong friendly? we are pretty open minded but like the finer things in life instead of partying until 0300! Any thoughts would be great! Morris
Thanks for all the input everyone. We really love the beach and food so leaning towards the GP heavily. We see plenty of wild partying at various bike rally's during the year so nudity nothing new. Glad we found this forum , it's a great source of information with some really helpful people. Thank you all.

Welcome all. Yes the GP is topless and thong friendly, depending on the crowd there at the time there may be a bunch or none of both lol. If your looking for a 5 star resort the GP is not it. It is however a very small,well up kept and clean older resort. The beach is probably one of the best in cancun,the food is very good with just about everything you could think of,between the 6 restaurants on premise. The staff is what truly makes this an awesome resort. When you step out of your transport they say welcome home and everyone of them mean it, they take care of you like family, well the family that you like being around anyway lol...
Wife and I love GP. We have stayed at both and like GP better and have all ways had a good time. We will be there 1st week of Sept and can not wait to get there. Frome one Hoosier Cpl to another GP is a blast.
