Man it was a cold night... I didn't have no electric for a little over 13 hours, and during that time, we had a snow storm too.. Biggest one we've had this year.. Burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... Didn't have to work today, but my truck is stuck at work lol.. Guess I'll go get it when I can get to it lol. Someone was drunk & pilled out of their head, and crashed. They broke the telephone pole in half, tore all fiber optic lines, phone lines, and electric lines down. They also ran from the scene, but cops were told who they were.. They are currently looking for them, and they are liable for anything people have lost do to the power outage.... Could have been worse I guess.. At least it didn't do this Friday or Saturday night when it was below zero...

Ok, i'm done now lol.. Had to rant a little...

I know... Glad it's back on though... Maybe tomorrow, i'll get out on the 4-wheeler and play in all the snow lol.. Will probably make me more sick, but it will be worth it for all of the fun lol.

Glad that your electric is back on.

For those who use it, electricity is taken for granted these days. I can't help but think the Amish laugh at us every time these things happen.

A few years ago when we had an ice storm in this area, we were without power for around a week. People were wishing that they had a nice wood burning stove. Folks were lining up for generators which were in short supply.

It's a convenience for most of us, and it really sucks when you lose it.

ahhh, Greta, sorry to hear that!

We are so used to hitting a light switch and having the lights come on, it's a real inconvenience not to have electricity,
BUT it's so much worse in the winter.

Good think we had a fireplace.. It kept this big place good enough warm.. I didn't mind the electric being off, other than not having internet, and hot water.. The lights were the least of my worries.. I like it dark lol.

Nope... we'll call it South Utopia. Ha! I couldn't fathom how miserable I would be if I lived up in your or Apple's area and lost power.
