Last time I was there, it was called Blue Bay Getaway! I'm excited to be going again (first week of May). Have there been any drastic changes? Cast changes? Lalo? Can we still bring cups? Getting so excited!!
You'll be seeing an all new entertainment crew. Lalo, Omar and Chinos haven't worked there in years. But a lot of the games etc are the same and the new crew that I have seen are still very good. Of course you can bring your own cups! The old Nice Shoes outside is now a restraunt, the new one is inside over where they used to have the gym, but doesn't get used too much. Mostly people party in Paty O's (courtyard bar past the front desk towards the buffet). It doesn't have the tiki hut over top now but is nice and open. But it's still a blast, no worries, you can get booze almost around the clock now which is better than the old 1am close time. I'll be there during that timeframe too so feel free to say hi, I'll buy you a round!
:huepfen021:WELCOME TO THE BOARD:huepfen021: Yes there has been a few changes. The staff is very different. The Three Amigos...Chinos, Lalos, and Omar are no longer there but they are in the area. Like you its been awhile since I have been thereas well. The resort had just changed the name from Blue Bay Getaway to Temptations during my last visit. They were also in the process of painting the new colors on the resort as well as changing the rooms to fit a "new" concept. It's great that you have found this site. I actually was on this board during my 1st and 2nd trip. I had to have my old screename deleted because it was coming up on Google searches and I was looking for a job I'm going to miss Lalo the most! Makes me sad!
Wow 6 years, yep alot of changes, much tamer and cast changes. Still a great place. Cups yes bring them.
