I had to leave work at 4:30 today, cause I was getting blocked away from my house... The river is estimated to raise to 49 feet. If it gets that high, major damage.. The house I use to live in down the road about an 8th of a mile, it got 5 1/2 feet deep in it in 1984, when the river got 49 feet deep. We live on up the road now, and are suppose to be out of a 100 year flood plan, but we'll see... Have my truck moved up the road in case of emergencies!!!
Thank you.... I think I will be ok at my house, but will be stuck.. Moving my truck in a couple more hours that way I can get out if I need to...All my surrounding areas are flooded, and some of them are the worse in history.. It is pretty bad.. They are saying it will creast at this and that, then they say with the way the water is, it could go 8 to 10 feet above or below what they are stating... Hope not above.... Won't get in our house unless something much worse happens, but will get in houses around me.. We sit back against a hill.. Last time it got this big, they were boating in front of my house...

Had to leave work yesterday, and can't make it there today.... Gonna go get ready, then off to take more pics...
Thanks.. Glad of it too.. The water is down right now, but we have big storms moving back in for the weekend.. We are still on a boil water advisory.. We didn't have water for 3 days, but we managed... Went to friends for showers, etc... Stocked up on more water today... Here is a link to a video of the worst hit area in Mingo County...
