Hi All! Counting down the days and trying to get the boring, practical stuff out of the way. What do people usually bring down to the pool? And how do they keep it dry? Some things I was thinking about include phones, cover-ups, towels, and especially tip money. Any advice?

We bring a bag for everything.
It is nylon and waterproof and floats awhile if necessary so even if it gets water on it or happens to get tossed in all is good.
Several also put phones in zip lock bag just in case.
Also put our shoes and towels in it since we usually dont get chairs.
Usually stash it at the end of the pool bar.
Have never had any issues with anyone messing with it.
Take it on BC too and never an issue.

While everyone on here seems nice, there’s always people who steal crap. I ordered a locking bag that attaches to a fixed item like a chair or table. Just a i I don’t have to worry a kit my phone or wallet if I’m in the pool. My wife made me buy her a water proof phone case lol.

Forgot about waterproof phonecase. We have Lifeproof and love them. But remember the etiquette in that no photos so folks get irritated with phones out when in the pool. Best to go check messages, etc. over in a corner or chair somewhere facing away from the “action”.

Have never had an issue nor seen theft but that does not mean it hasn’t or doesn’t or cannot happen.
Also, there is always a first time.
If I see you bag locked to a table or chair I will simply take the whole thing...lol!

Now, I have seen folks get so intoxicated that they leave stuff behind or move it...or someone else moves it and they think it got taken.
Rayanne and I tend to take turns out getting too shit faced out of necessity so that we don’t get in too much trouble, remember where our stuff is, and get back to our room!

Always check with lost and found at the Front Desk before believing anything was stolen.

When I used to smoke, used to have this waterproof OtterBox case I bought from Amazon, big enough to fit phones, cigarettes, lighter, room key and tip money in. They don't sell them any more unfortunately. These days as a non-smoker, I just keep everything (towel, tip money, room key, sunscreen) in a beach bag. I keep a black bin liner at the bottom of that bag, to put the bag in if it looks like a downpour is on the way.

Whats kind of funny, kind of not funny, is I felt like someone stole my sandals in like 6 straight trips...
    - first we had a couple over. And well things got complicated and she didn't want to leave and wanted to spend the night. He left. And came back later to the balcony (1st floor jacuzzi room around the quiet pool) and I left my sandals out there and he threw them in the quiet pool. He got my sandals but I got, well I digress :)
    - then another trip they went missing on the Boobs Cruise. A day later I saw Steve wearing them. Yes, the STEVE. He tried to give them back but I declined.
    - then 3 more trips in a row they got 'stolen' but I never found them. I think there is a good chance I left them somewhere in a drunken stupor when disrobing / partying.

Ever since then I am determined to not get my sandals 'stolen' again and haven't.
