Very excited for the start of the season! The weather is gorgeous, the birds are chirping and there's baseball on television....gets no better than this! Yankees SHOULD have no issue in their quest for #28, but I've got a different World Series winner.... AL East: Yankees AL Central: Twins AL West: Mariners Wild Card: Rays NL East: Phillies NL Central: Cardinals NL West: Rockies Wild Card: Braves (on the record not being biased...I actually have faith we're getting back to an elite ball club haha) ALDS Yanks over Mariners Rays over Twins NLDS Phillies over Rockies Cardinals over Braves ALCS Rays over Yankees NLCS Phillies over Cardinals World Series Rays over Phillies in 7 .......now I'm NEVER right about these things, so for all I know the Pirates will win the world series :anon: hahaha
I'm not a sports fan. To give you an idea of how much I am not a sports fan I just turned down Sox/Yankees tickets for free. I think they were for tonight... Never bothered asking. Alot of people would kill for those. I figure they outta get them instead of me going just to say I did.
Well the Phillies are looking good already with a win of 11-1 over the Nationals I like Fletch's predications above BUT the Phils will take the Rays in the WS AGAIN!!!!
P.S. Did anyone else think it was weird/strange that Obama threw out the 1st pitch on Monday at the Nationals Park wearing a SOX hat? I know the SOX are his team but shouldn't you be supporting your home town team in DC?
