can anyone tell me the current requirements for masks or any other rules on Isla? just wondering if a day trip makes sense right now? thank you!
Same as Cancun... wear a mask all the time you are outside your hotel with the exception of sitting down to drink and eat. We did it last year for a week, plan on longer this year.... you get used to it and can still have a great time. Jamie
Since you can pretty much be "drinking" the entire time while on Isla Mujeres... you won't need to have the mask on, much, except for the ferry ride there and back and getting to the ferry and back.
We just returned last week, We wore a mask on the Ferry and through the ferry station. After that there was no one barking at us about mask and not many where wearing them. They will make you have one on at the station and on the boat. We spent the whole day there only had a mask on for the station and boat ride.
Yes ive seen 6 person carts on the island. Not many of them but they do exist. Also not sure what company rents them either.
We had rented ours directly at the Ferry Terminal (Embarcadero) near TTR. It was a four passengers but they were very helpful assisting us with the rental so I imagine that they could help you finding a 6 passengers.
