We have been to Isla several times, we are planning a day trip for February. Before, we have rented a golf cart and drove around the island a couple times and spent a lot of time at North Beach. Where is the best deal on golf carts? What is the location and name of the bar that Steve used to take the cruise to? Back when we were able to go shopping and hang out at the bar after lunch. This bar. Are there any other bars or hidden gems we might want to check out this time?
Soggy Pesos is a hidden gem. Strong drinks, great food and atmosphere. Rubens has the best food on the island. Mango Cafe is overpriced and overrated. We've always rented our carts from Fiesta Golf Carts (get off ferry, go to main road, take a left for about a half block and its across the street next to the bank) they always have newer, faster, cleaner carts. Its around $50 for the day.
Have been to Soggy Peso a couple times. We found the Joint down on the southwest last October. They had a cool band in the middle of day.
We have been to Isla just on Boobs Cruise. We are planning a day trip for February 6th this time. It will be my birthday. Can somebody recommend any restaurant with great food and atmosphere to celebrate?
Just walk off the ferry and walk around.. they are everywhere and you can get them for 40-50 us.. and I usually use my room key and"forget" my license at the hotel.. Oh and the most amazing place on the island is Zama beach club.. the most amazing food I've had in Mexico. Great relaxing pools you can hang out in too
When we were their last Oct. we went to a new place called the ice bar. Coolest place to drink in Mexico. definetly a memorable expierience
