We went in April with Woody and Sue and Greg and Darcy and Joyce and Ken and a couple of others on our own trip and had an absolute blast. We drove around the island on golf carts (tried to have golf cart races getting up the hills.lol) Stopped off at a couple of places to have drinks. The Joint bar is great and one that you should definitely check out. Then we drove around the island checked everything out (this was not our first time there, but our first time in quite a few years) We shopped and had lunch back near the pier and then back to the hotel. What a great day it was. Definitely try it. It is relaxing and a really fun time away from the resort.
We went for a half day last year. Just hopped the fairy. We got a couples massage on the beach right off the bat & then did some shopping after that. By 2 we were ready to go back. The next time we go, we're going to get a golf cart so we can cover the whole island.
we are the aug 13-20....whats the total cost for the golf cart,tax,insurance ect.... also the cost of the ferry to isle mujeres....thanks 15 sleeps
We were at The Joint Bar on Friday, it was great as always. You'll see the sign that says "4 Beers and Guacamole-$10". This is correct, it is the Ultramar Ferry and it leaves from Playa Linda/ El Embarcadero, and it's $17 PP round trip. It is 1/2 kilometer walk from Temptation if you go to the beach and turn right. You can find the ferry schedule on the Utramar Website, they only leave every hour and a half.
yes!! best part of the trip in my opinion - there are many public beaches bring a towel and sit down - the water is wonderful!!
