i have not done this while i was there but from other posts i have read they are around 50 dollars for the day. perhaps someone else has a more update figure?
Tours to IM are one thing. Ferry prices just to be transported over are another. Here's a recent post about the new changes in prices: http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=43179
Fast ferry, from Puerto Juarez to Isla, is 70 pesos, one way. My last two experiences with golf cart rentals was that it was hard to get anyone to rent to me for less than 400 pesos for 24 hours. (Posted rates tend to be around 650 pesos). This is an excellent time to visit Isla, many places are dropping prices on rooms.... We are paying just 400 pesos/night, typically, now on our visits to Isla.
can someone tell how far it is to the ferry to isla mujeres from TTR? and what is the best way to get there?
I heard the fairy is walking distance from Temptation, But I would like specific info, too! aragincajun do you have a day picked out to go over there yet?
Please see my page at: http://www.cancuncare.com/Isla_Mujeres/directions.htm The prices are a little out of date but the rest of the info is good. The Embarcadero ferry is within walking distance of Temptation.
dfw, no not sure what day i will end up going over there. i do have my own snorkling gear and was hoping to maybe doing some there and maybe somewhere else. which day r u guys gonna be at TTR...i have a hard time trying to keep up with which folks i have seen here that r actually there at the same time as me i am there oct23-nov2
Puerto Juarez and Gran Puerto are the same thing, the ferry dock to Isla that is outside of the hotel zone. The Embarcadero is where the pirate ships dock, next to the Barcelo Costa Cancun.
