Hello! I'm looking at this resort as an option for our anniversary trip over New Years. (I know it's early, I like planning). My searching has turned up that the Party Pool is heated, but I haven't been able to find out anything about the Quiet Pool. Here's the thing - the Party Pool may be too much for my wife and I in anything other than short bursts. We've never been anywhere like this before. So for this resort to be an option, I need to know if the Quiet Pool is heated and comfortable during the winter months. If it's not, I'll probably need to let go of this resort as an anniversary option. Thank you!
I have been going to TTR since 2004 and I do not believe any pool is heat. Always go end of December beginning of January never had a problem of pool being cold. Already booked January 2 -12-2026 and will be there in middle of June, you won't be disappointed!!
Really? That's surprising to me. We stayed at a resort a couple years ago in December, and there was a huge difference between the pools that were heated (still a tiny bit chilly at first, but comfortable) and the one pool that was not heated (absolutely freezing, impossible to stay in for long.) I guess I'm asking if people have been there in winter and found the Quiet Pool, specifically, to be comfortable.
The Sexy Pool (party) is 100% heated and always comfortable. Unfortunately we cant give confirmation for quiet pool as we've never been in it; maybe someone else can give you the answer you want. That being said, you say you and your wife may only be able to handle the main pool in short bursts, so I just want to clarify the experience. While it is a "party pool" it's never overwhelming, too loud, nor overcrowded, at least from our experience. Unless you purposely migrate to the middle of the pool between the bar and the playmaker games, it's never bodies on top of bodies. It is big and there was always plenty of space for my wife and I to float around in our own area away from the main crowd whenever we wanted.
Never to loud? I have never heard that before. I love loud music but the music in the afternoons in the sexy pool is ridiculously loud.
Well I suppose everybody has a different definition of what "too loud" can mean. Too loud to me means you can't have easily have a conversation with the people around you. Like you have to shout... and people keep saying "what did you say?" For us, that's never seemed to be the case at the pool. Regardless of the music, we could always enjoy conversations with the folks around us.
