I have been to both coasts of Mexico and enjoy going on morning walks down the beach. Is the beach in this area good for walking ?

Nope you fall into a bottomless pit filled with snakes if you walk away from the resort!

Just kidding the beach isn't the greatest but more than good enough for a walk!

I've never cared to venture too far from TTR when staying there.

Turn right and you can walk for some way but occasionally will have to detour by road to get around various obstacles.

Turn left and you can walk for several miles, there are very few hotels once you've passed the first couple.

So, if you want to do it, turn left!

Like Steve says, you can walk farther if you go left and past the Albatross Tours/Marina.

If you go right, the beach get narrower and you eventually dead end at a little lagoon and series of hotels, and would be forced to go to the street in order to get around.

The beach is safe, however, once you leave the property you should still be aware of your surroundings. You will also get harassed somewhat by vendors if you let them. The security at Temptation seems to keep them in check while they are walking on the beach near the Sexy Pool.

    Enjoy your walk!

walking the beach at night you could also run into armed patrols. but other than that day or night it's night a bad walk.

Thanks for the replies. We are at Temptation Dec. 7-14. Will be going on some morning walks to counteract the food and booze the rest of the day brings.

If you manage more than one walk on the trip, I applaud you. I'm lucky enough to get up early, snag a pool chair then back to bed.

Hope you have a fabulous trip!

Thanks, I am sure we will have a great time ! Hoping to go for more than one walk but we will have to wait and see what the mornings feel like. Sounds like you tend to have long nights = rough mornings! Lol
