Everyone pretty much starts out with whatever they were wearing in the sexy pool. However, every lost point equals the loss of an article of clothing, so most get naked quickly. Insofar as participation, the sports pool was pretty full for the tequila volleyball when we were there. Oh, and you don't want to let the ball get out of the pool, someone has to get out and go get it. Always an audience favorite.
we haven't been to TTR in a while, do they still do the birthday song and tequila shooters during the game? Great time, wouldn't miss it!:musik026:
When we were there in August, each team had a bottle of Tequila. When someone on the team missed a volley they had to take a drink. While serving and if they served the ball out of the pool or hit the volley out of the pool, they had to take off a top (girl) or bottom if top was gone, guys bottoms. And they had to get out of the pool to get the ball. Sometimes they would refuse and just take a drink. Got booed but the game continued. The losing team at the end of the match (best 2 out of three games ) are suppose to run around the pool after the game naked. On our week, the locals (the TTR team) got beat but refused to follow that tradition. Now, this is just what we observed that one week. but the game was a blast to watch...seem like everything at TTR is a blast until they cut that wrist band off when U are leaving... Have a great trip, we did
Absolutely. The down side is that their version of the happy birthday song sticks with you forever. We have to watch that when we sing happy birthday to some one in the "real world", we don't sing "happy birthday F$&@ you". Could be embarassing.
