Any suggestions which of these months are better than the others? Which one is the worst in terms of heat.

We visited last August, and it was great. At the resort we were never uncomfortably hot. We just hung out in the pools, or by the ocean. Even on the Boobs Cruise we were comfortable with the wind. Just being near the water makes it cooler.

We had friends that went on an excursion, and they did say it was too hot to be away from water... that said I think they were just regretting missing the party at TTR!

@vervkov ... we prefer May, June, July but we love the heat and warm water... pool and ocean!
Mr. Google might say that Aug and Sept may also have a higher risk of hurricanes in the Atlantic/Caribbean.

Thanks guys :) Since you have been there, maybe you could answer another question of mine. It says all inclusive which I am guessing the food is included too, but then I read people paying for food or reserving a restaurant at the resort? What is that about it? Any clarification will be appreciate it.

We never paid anything extra our week, with the exception of tips. Food, drink and a bit of entertainment is included.

There is an option to purchase upgraded wine at dinner; we never did. No reservations were needed except at the Hibachi Grill and the She restaurant. Both have limited seating and a bit of a show. You don’t pay extra for them.

We always went August and switched to June last year. Rained for like 4 days straight and it was like 70*. Back to August this year. Least if it rains, its still warm for the pool!!

Thanks for your responses. Also, from what I understand boob cruise is only for couples? No single men allowed?

We went in July. It was comfortable at the resort. We did an excursion to Chichen Itza, which is quite far inland, and that was HOT, but we survived!

Some single men can go. But it's limited, and no groups.

The Boobs Cruise allows singles, just not groups of single men. The cruise we went on had one single guy on it.

If you go... be prepared to be singled out a bit. The crew has fun with the single guys. Wasn’t too bad, the guy on our boat was on his second trip.

If you search the forum there is lots of information about attending TTR and the BC as a single. Boils down to as long as your social, don’t have expectations, and respect everybody you’ll be fine. Which generally is good advice for everybody who goes!
