We love TTR and are looking forward to heading back this spring after missing our annual trip last year. We started going in 2010 the first week in April. Our first trip cost us $2600 for a week including flights from Canada, the next year $2200 and in 2012 it cost us $1800. Now here we are ready to book our 2014 first week of April trip and we are looking at over $3500!!!! What is up with that??? We know it's become more popular over the last few years but really, how has it doubled in price since 2012? We used to fly from Toronto and are now flying from Calgary but can't believe an extra hour in the air makes that much of a difference. We welcome any suggestions on different sites cuz we're not missing our trip this year for anything!!!!! Can't wait to see everyone again!!!!:flash:
We just booked from Calgary and have friends booking from Ontario, sadly our location does make a huge difference, mainly due to the lack of flight options. If you can get a deal for $3500 take it, we paid over $4k for 9 nights, April 19-28 Cue people make me sad by saying they got way better deals from Calgary Nah it's OK, I can take it
We booked from Edmonton for 3300 basic room. Last year was the same price for a ocean view room, so about 300 higher this year for us.
Easter is late this year, and last year the resort was sold out, the US economy is recovering ( according to some),, all combined +$$$$$ you didn't mention dates Expedia and Orbitz and Selloff vacations have had good showing this year,, changes day to day. we mange to get 4 nights, for 688 CDN , 2 ,3 weeks ago (April 24, to 28 ) standard room Good luck
Sadly my birthday is also Easter Sunday and we (well I, Andrew) wanted to be there for that, as does everyone else it seems. they must know it's my birthday
I did mention first week of April but more specifically looking at Mar 29 or 30th for 7 nights. I guess flying from Alberta is part of the reason I feel like the prices have gone way up.....I'll keep watching but as a returning guest you know we're going to pay whatever it takes to get us back to the place we love the best!!!!

We just booked 7 days, Jan 23-30 with flight from Dayton, OH for 2800. I think flight prices are one reason the packages seem higher.
Matrix - ITA Software This will get you cheap flights. Then often a travel agent or a different website can get cheap rooms. good for at least comparing to package deals.
We booked two yrs running same week for a jacuzzi room for 2890 tax in so I guess I won't complain!! 13 days and we are there!!!
