Hi! My partner and I need a vacation and we're thinking of Golden Parnassus. Is Golden Parnassus gay friendly? We aren't the sort who are gonna do it in the pool, but we do hold hands, dance together, kiss, etc just like any other couple -- and we aren't prudes, we love to have a good time and drink it up and laugh -- We've got tons of straight friends and we've been on vacation with them and always had a blast -- just wanted to get some input on before we book -- Thanks a bunch! (We're also considering Temptation. Any input would be great so that we have a great time in mexico!)
While I have seen zero openly gay couples at the GP, I don't know what you mean about gay friendly? Are gays prevented from booking anywhere?
I think what they are asking as friendly meaning would people be rude or anything. Like the above poster, we never saw anyone openly, but from the vibe during our visit last week, I wouldn't think it would be a problem.
ive seen a pair or two of gay couples there..... i have no problems with them, as long as they are down to party and not be rude
I think it is at least somewhat gay friendly...I didn't see anything out in the open as you describe, holding hands or kissing...but there was a large poster in the GP lobby advertising for a "gay resort"...forget the name now... and I am pretty sure there were a few gay couples last week when I was there...plus everyone assumed my friend and I were, since we were in the club room, which was geared to couples... and it wasn't an issue as far as I could tell.... we did hear that Temptations is a swinger resort from another couple on an excursion we went on....they said they heard that from their cab driver....
