Investment can come in many forms. Much of the time our investments come in the form of time. Time is the ultimate investment. Time is the one thing we all really have in this planet while we are here. Many people would tell you that's it's money however money is a translation of time at its very best, and a simple fast bandaid at it simplest (for those fortunate enough to have much of it). Time spent with loved ones are the most gigantic investment. When that investment turns out to not be reciprocated or understood as one saw it as it was happening can be the worst kind loss. Time is everything. We don't have much of it. Know that who ever you spend your time with it is an immeasurable amount of respect and love on that person's part. When someone takes that time and effort and turns it into something cheap it's a huge loss. And as a person it hurts.... Know that to myself and Ashley we have taken the people we have met and spent time with as a priceless treasure. One which we do not ever want to take for granted. We just hope that all you fantastic people we have spent time with and have gotten to know and love know just how much we appreciate and love you. You guys are great and we are very much looking forward to seeing you and spending more time with you on this journey we all call life. All the best to you my friends. Having a bad day. This is so very true.. I have found my life more enriched after making my amazing vacation friends. I don't seek out material objects in life any more.. Just more chances to travel and meet more people that complete my life. Its been an amazing journey thus far, and just keeps getting better. Thank you for being a part of it. xo

Agreed! I consider many of the people we met there in only 5 days to be some of our best friends in the world now! I think this should be "required reading" for forum newbies. Maybe then they would understand why some folks get so offended or even just have so much to say when certain topics are posted. Any TTR person is just a best friend we haven't met yet! I totally agree. We met a couple from Dallas about 7 yrs ago at Temptations. Became really good friends. We all go every 6 months to Temptations together. We have to Dallas 3 times to visit them. They are flying here to Iowa today for my sons wedding tommorrow, and we fly out to cancun together on Monday for 10 days. Could not ask for better friends.
Great Post! It is truly amazing that spending a few days with others in a relaxed atmosphere like TTR can develop into lifelong freindships. No pretentions, just fun and good friends. It doesn't get much better than that.
