Anyone else having a really poor internet connection? I can access sites but doing anything is soooo slow. Also, does anyone know when Cancun will have anything above a 2mb connection and if it does exist, any ideas how much it costs? I get so frustrated with this painful connection that i'm considering paying anything to make it faster. On a side note, has anyone heard anything on HD Sky? When i signed up (almost 2 years ago) they said there would be HD sky in Cancun within 6 months, it is now well past that and i haven't seen anything on HDTV in Mexico, let alone out here in the 'sticks' :roll:

Matt that is just SICK! How you get that speeds, surely they don't have 21mb connection in Mexico yet? Do they have like their own pipe to Korea or something?
Thanks Steve, mine always seems worse than most, still going badly! 4 Mb $2,289 a month! That's quite steep, i think i'll ask the boss to help me with paying that! 24mb in England, what tenner a month, this countries a joke sometimes!
Yep - costs like 1 billion pesos a month, but you get free local calls and a keyring included in the package. :lol:
Just the 1 billion? That's okay then, put me down for two, i'll have one downstairs aswell as i'm sure that will still be unreliable at that price and i'll need a spare. Any idea what the upload speed is on the 4mb connection Steve, that's what i need a better upload, i get like 9kbs real speed even when it's at the full 1 or 2mb (not sure what i have). Obvisouly right now i'm getting 0.00000001kb upload speed, which is great when you have to send majorly important files, urgently, today, to movie companies in the US.
Slow for me again now: anyway it's Friday and the sun is shining. Shouldnt we be down the pub or something?
