Can anyone tell us how the internet service is at the resort? Is there a weekly package deal or is it on a daily basis?

Reception depends on your proximity to the lobby too. I once stayed in one of the suites at the far end of the quiet side and couldn't get a signal at all, now I have a Telcel SIM card for my iPhone and just use that for Internet access. 1GB of data costs about $12 with Telcel.

Codes are bought out of a machine now and I believe cost 15 a day. I was there last October and the machine was right outside patty o. The service is ok around patty o and the lobby, but spotty every else.

You would think TTR would at least let you have free access in the lobby. Its not like any of us go there to surf the internet but would be nice to be able to check in at home or emails real quick.

I do the telcel thing on my android tmobile phone. They sent the sim unlock codes before I went. Data is cheap and my phone also works as a wifi hotspot so we could share with friends. I've made some more detailed posts about the setup on here a while back if you do a search for telcel.
