I have consulted with him on two occasions. He is English speaking, and knows his subject well. He is also an extremely approachable person. Anyone who is uncomfortable with the idea of dealing with immigration themselves would do well to choose him to assist them. He can help you avoid the problems and frustrations that might come your way, otherwise.
Mauricio used to be a boss in the downtown INM office, he knows the law backwards. He's also a brand new dad, or is about to be one, not sure. So he might be a bit preoccupied or slow to get back to you right now. But be patient with him, he's worth it.
You're right, Rivergirl, Maurico has had a boy, born the 15th of August, his first child, and he's very happy and busy, as all new fathers can be. It seems the best way to get in touch with him is by phone. He was able to make an appt for me at the end of the work day, on the same day I called, on both occasions.
