rdubnpk Does anyone else out there watch American Idol??? What a load of crap it has become!! The hottest female with the best voice of the season gets voted off while Casey (they saved him why??) and McDonald (the absolute worst voice of the season) continue on. The judges are just rubber stamping almost every performance, no matter how bad, and Steven Tyler seems to be in a continual drugged stupor. If you watched the show the other night, the only person who recieved any criticism was PIA, who knocked it out of the park. Casey moaned and groaned his way through Creedence song and McDonald butchered Johnny Cash. Nothing was said.......... OK,OK...I know I need to get a life............
its all good guys - me too agree on pretty much everything you said for me for them for me it seems like the voting process (when there are 9 very good singers) should be geared more towards not voting for your favorite each week - but towards everyone VERY SIMPLY just voting off the worst person each week ..............this would give a more accurate indication of whom america thought should leave...........as at this point in the game it is about...........uh..hummmm eliminating the process is screwed up - thats the problem with it - they are going about it the wrong way ------------ have said this for years SINCE YOU ARE ELIMINATING A CONTESTANT - THEN VOTE THE WORST OFF ..............but nobody ever listens to me lol rob
well I have been watching it .. and will not be watching it any more .. because I said if Pia doesnt win it I am not watching it any more.. with that said.. I think this year is the best final 10 they have ever had and it is a close competition.. I dont know this for sure.. but the winner is stuck (well not really stuck) but in a contract with disney, and I have thought in the past that the really good singers that leave early have had a offer of contract and recording .. not that i think that its fixed or anything .. ahah!! I really hope we see (hear) of her again..
rdubnpk What a unique and special idea this past week...Vote off the person who is the lousiest singer!!!!! McDonald reminded me of the mating call of a moose I once heard on a National Geographic special. I thought, like everyone else, I guess, he should at least be able to sing Rod Stewart, but he even crucified that.
I only watch the 1st couple of weeks when the auditions are going through .. then it gets a bit too much .. Oh and of course for Jennifer Lopez, she's getting hotter with age!
