We returned two days ago from our third time to BBG/Temptations. It was a fun, wild and hhmmm, what is the word that I am looking for??? Uummm…..memorable, I guess. Day One – arrived around 1:30 PM and room was ready (yea!). We paid a little extra for a Jacuzzi room this time. Didn’t know why at this point but it did come in handy later. We were put in room 1122, right across from NICE SHOES. We went out by the pool and it was windy/partly cloudy but nice enough. We strolled around and looked for any familiar faces from the forum but did not see anyone. We were tired from the trip, found a warm spot by the Quiet Pool and napped. Met a nice couple from California, had dinner and went to bed early. Then NICE SHOES started up and the party may as well have been in our room. I called Guest Services and I have to say, they were not the nicest. They did tell me to check in the morning to see if we could switch. Lame first day but we felt awesome for Day 2. Day Two – Up and out to the pool to secure chairs. All the good ones gone but there were some still available by the buffet restaurant. We went to front desk and they had our new room ready (room 1130). It was a much better locale and similar with an outdoor Jacuzzi. We got some drinks and settled down to watch the activities. Met Jake and Laurie from Ohio and Rob the Cop from PA. While chatting with them, two couples (Troy/Joyce and Ryan/Deanna) from the forum found us. We chatted with them and made plans to meet in our room before lingerie/casino night to all go together. They arrived at our room and we proceeded to take pictures. It was fun and it felt like we all knew each other even though we had never met. After pics, we proceeded over to Paty ‘O’s to watch the lingerie show prior to the casino night and had a very nice time. After the lingerie show (that none of us girls were able to get in on because we were too late), we all danced and had a great time. After dancing, we all decided to check out the Jacuzzi and that’s all I can say about that. Day Three – I don’t think any of us got up this day in time for chairs so we hung out on the beach. I wondered if those patio blinds were see through? I got a henna tat. It was a pretty mellow day, really. We all talked with Rob the cop every so often. We saw the Dazzling Temptation show this night. The highlight was the end when they choose someone from the audience to lap dance with all the dancers. They chose “Magic Man’s” wife, a French Canadian who did magic tricks all over the resort and let’s just say she was going commando and we had a front row seat. Day Four – Everyone got up to save chairs so there were 18 chairs for the six of us. We had primo seats for the Saturday show. Deanna and I got in on the beer drinking contest where 4 USA women and 4 USA men go up against Canada. The USA women won and the Canadian men won. Since the USA women beat all of the Canadian women, we had to go up against each other (Iowa vs. Iowa). Deanna whooped my @ss…she can swallow. This day was Saturday. It was warm and the pool was the rowdiest I have ever seen. There were a ton of people in and out of the water. We were dancing and doing body shots when Jose, the bartender gave us the green light. When it was my turn for the body shot (and I could not wait), I just assumed my hubby would do a shot off my tummy but Jose (or was it Javier?) poured Pina Colada mix from the top and all the way down there……I shut my eyes and it seemed like 6 people latched on…I noticed MY man down there so wasn’t too concerned about who else was taking a taste. I am sure the people on the bar (except the couple with the sour look on their faces) had a fun show to watch. I met another couple from PA, who were in the beer drinking contest and another couple from somewhere out east. We saw Rob the cop several times this day and looked as though he had picked up a woman. We were all pretty tipsy and yelled loudly from the pool which he seemed to like. We met a friendly couple from Mexico City. This was our “Meet and Greet” afternoon so we went up to the bar and looked around. I did not see anyone I recognized but I suck at that anyway plus I was fairly tipsy. I yelled, “Packers Suck” and no one responded. Things are a little fuzzy but I do know that after we finally made it back to our room, where we planned to take a little siesta at 7:30 PM, we did not wake up until 1 AM. We were hungry but not enough to go get the infamous cheeseburger. Day Five and our last full day – We all were thinking if the weather was cloudy one day, we would go to Isla but each day was nice and we chose to stay at the resort. This day was no exception. We got our primo pool seats saved by one of us in the group. We did quite a bit of relaxing and then the clouds rolled in….Tom and I headed to our room for about “ten minutes” and filled up the Jacuzzi to get warm. We returned to find the pool in fine form with the Temptation hopefuls having a blast. Miss November was dancing and having a great time. She came over, held my hand and took me out into the pool where she removed my top. She was having a great time and at one point was naked. A woman walked by and was not amused. She actually looked and sounded pissed about her being naked. I could not hear what she said to Miss November but her body language was speaking volumes. Oh, and none of us saw Rob the cop this day…not at all. We were worried about him. We had walked by his room in the morning which happened to be the first room we gave up and his Jacuzzi was overfilled. There were loud sirens in the early morning which sounded like they were at the resort. Rob the Cop from Philly, if you read this, please let us know that you are ok! It was really a wild and mellow experience all at the same time. It was the most pool fun I have ever had and I had never been to Casino night which was a night to remember. “I’ve got a feeling” that Tom will ever forget his 40th birthday. Thank you to Jose and Javier, the pool bartenders and Rosa in Las Margarita’s for excellent customer service. I gave tips to Jose and Javier in an unusual way but they loved it and played along. Chino’s was hilarious, as usual. Thanks to our new friends from Minnesota and Iowa. It was a lot of fun. :lotsofmichaelfs: PS. Food the same as usual...not very good but we do not go there for the food. I do prefer breakfast in Las Margarita's and had the Salmon Bagel which was yummy.
I enjoyed reading your report. Thanks. I have seen conflicting reports on the cost of the upgrade, do you mind sharing what they charged you for the jacuzzi upgrade?

Jacuzzi The upgrade was really by accident. I do all of our travel arrangements which is time consuming when you have to look around at all the sites. Apple Vacations or Funjet just offer their standard room or charge an arm/leg for jacuzzi so we never considered it. On a whim, I checked Orbitz, a company that I was leary about using because you hear the horror stories about their customer service. The same flight with a jacuzzi room was the same as Apple or Funjet's regular room. Orbitz had a regular room a couple hundred cheaper but we wanted to try a jacuzzi room in case the weather was bad. (That is really why we wanted it). It got more use than we imagined it would and the weather was quite nice. As for pics, I have some but we were really bad about taking them this time. I am asking around to see if anyone has some. It was a fun time even without a thong bikini. We looked in gift shop but there was none to be found. That won't happen again. I did go topless a couple times, something those of you who met me before know that is something I do not do. My shyness seems to be resolving.:icon_redface: This will probably be the last time we go to Cancun in January, though. I think February will be our time next year.
