Both movies make you cry, but if you watch a second time you know what is coming so perhaps isn't sad again.

For me, I've watched Titantic at least six times and I cry every time - especially the scene with the older couple, life vests on, on the bed as the water starts rushing in. Their decision to die embraced together instead of fighting to stay alive gets me every time!

For me, Glory is one of the saddest movies, Being a history major and buff, it is the ultimate story about sacrifice, one that very few people know about.

I got all choked up when Jack sunk to the bottom of the Atlantic, and Rose was left floating on the door saying:"I'll never let go Jack....I'll never let go!!"
    that was some sad shit!!!

    Im Joking.

never saw I am Sam. Green mile was a good movie, was pretty sad at the end.

I also haven't seen I Am Sam. Love The Green Mile though. Another Tom Hanks film that gets to me is Saving Private Ryan. When they are at the cemetary & Ryan asks his wife whether he has lived a good life.
