that the "Temptation Suites" reside on the 1 , 2 & 3rd floors. I am rather geeked about this. I just requested a 3rd floor room (with hopes of a better oceanview) look. See you all April 22-29... Can't wait to get there...
This is your first trip huh lol We have all made that mistake on the first few trips, getting the room on the 3rd floor for the better view...Then you curse yourself at 4am when you get lost and trip up the 2,000 sets of stairs haha Im kidding partially, it depends on what you like to do... I personally did the same thing my first few trips, then wanted to hurl myself in front of the R1 bus that fly past the hotel after day 3. I just am not a big fan of stairs and I usually get over served at the bars, (i hate when they do that) and I literally had to be delivered to my room cuz i kept getting lost... My buddy gets the 3rd floor room every year, cuz he loves to read on the patio and he loves the ocean view, So it definately is a nice room. I was just sharing my story haha. You will have a blast
I was ground floor practically in PatyO's. Seriously - there were times I thought the people were inside my room. On the bright side, I can sleep through anything - so it was nice to not have to travel for anything.
We had a third floor room on our virgin trip. With a view of Patty O's. Positive side - we counted using the stairs as part of a healthy exercise plan among other very physical activities, lol. It was also easy to get down to the party at night. And easy to grab a late night burger or nachos. Negative side - there were a few nights that I didn't think we were going to make it up those stairs. A couple of those nights are pretty hazy in my mind - not really sure but we may have had to get on all fours to take the last flight. And..................I had to be really really drunk to fall asleep if the party was still going on. Or maybe............that's on the positive side, LOL. Shannon
I had third floor above the quiet pool a couple weeks and I definitely did not like it. I had two issues... 1. The flights do seem longer than normal stairs at 3am. On two separate occasions I was bringing my beloved hot dogs and fries up those stairs late night. I lost focus, dropped the plate and it made the most horrible echoing sound as it bounced down. So bad that each time someone came out and yelled at me. No one needs that at 3am and oh the devastation of losing the hot dogs and fries. The first time I think I cried. The second time I just picked them up and ate them. 2. We were in the corner where the stairs split to go to the spa or up to the rooms above the quiet pool. I can't even tell you how many times late night I ended up by the spa looking for my room.
he he i remember our first trip!! getting really drunk, then going to pass out, climbing 3 flights of stairs wasnt the issue with me it was laying down to sleep, hearing the music and having my feet keep dancing!!!! so the last few times we got a room on the qiet side. very peacful for sleeping. now if my feet are tapping i just stay up!!!!
I too have felt the pain of loosing a few bun wrapped friends blanketed in warm chili... and I was laughing my ass of about the echo, you are so right, those hallways are like libraries at that time and if you drop anything or even talk, you may as well be lighting some M80 fireworks Like I said up there, the first time I had a 3rd floor room was a premier room and it was the building right next to the sexy pool... and the staircases split over there too, I was hammered and kept ending back up Patty O's and the movie theatre.... one night i gave up, sat in the flower pot and ate my 3am healthy snacks covered in cheese sauce... and begged security to even point me in the general direction of either my room or a room that would let me in to sleep hahaha
The first time we stayed on the third floor I stood forever waiting for the elevator after a night a Paty'o's....
