so I went to see this movie last night, wanted to see it in IMAX because that would be sweet, but it turns out, not only did the IMAX version sell out early that morning, but it seems every showing of the movie in the damn state was sold out, we checked literally 6 different theaters to try and see this film, but it just wasnt in the cards. Maybe have better luck in the coming days, expect a full report. Oh and if you read, Will Smith apparently leaked the ending to the movie.....if you know what goes on during, please dont spoil it
The previews of this movie remind me alot of the '71 movie "The Omega Man" starring Charlton Heston. It seems both movies are based on the same novel "I Am Legend", a 1954 science fiction novel by Richard Matheson about the last man alive on the planet Earth. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Am_Legend The plot looks interesting, should be a great movie to see....
Great movie. Eerie how they made New York look deserted. Disturbing concept that something like that may happen someday. Very sad scene, sad because it was so wonderfully acted by Will Smith, made be cry ... I'm glad I wasn't PMS'ing at the time, I would have been sobbing! :cry: :xmas
