lol...it has been shit for 3-4 days....very windy, rainy, and barely any sun. So, pool time gas been shit and linited in between the storms. Worst sustained shitty weather for the oast 2 weeks we have ever experienced Windy as hell and band after band of heavy pelting rain for the past several hours. Wed 80% chance of rain Thurs 70% chance Fri 70% chance So we now believe the weather forecasts! So it is one in a million chance for better weather...so you are sayin’ there’s hope!!!
It has been shit almost continuously since you departed! Very little good sun at all. Nasty as cat shit in the sand box for the past several hours too. Room Service and watching election results for us. Head home tomorrow and actually looking forward to it as weather at home is great.
So I'm trying to make sense of weather reports. Forecast is saying rain all day every day. But when I look at radar it doesn't show any precipitation anywhere near the hotel zone. Is it raining there right now? What is the weather like?
Arrived this afternoon, pretty crappy. Light rain to fairly heavy, then stopped to repeat over and over. That said pool was packed, every having great time. We mostly sat in rooftop jacuzzi that was quite hot which felt great. Still pretty fun day.
Unless there is a hurricane type event, the weather forecast is usually more likely to say rain, than what you will really encounter. Easy way to check is to look at a the forecast, then got to youtube, and type in Cancun live camera. There are lots to choose from that will show live videos from atop buildings. You can compare that to the weather forecast. Usually it's more sunny than they say it will be.
