I know they say the drinking water is filtered, but does anyone have a problem drinking it? Was just wondering....
The water is fine. Check out the following thread http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/temptation-resort-cancun/22199-agua.html
All the drinking water is bottled. I don't know anyone who would risk drinking tap water. I use bottled water even brushing my teeth but I was down alot this last year in the Cancun area without problems. The kids all used tap water to brush their teeth and no problems. All restaurants use bottled. Why take the chance of ruining a trip sitting in the bathroom when you can get bottled just about everywhere.
Tao water at the resort can taste a bit skunky but that's the pipes. The quality of it is ok to drink though!
I drink the water all the time from the tap.....I usually bring those single pouches of ice tea to mix with it thought. This year I bought the MIO since they are small and don't take much to improve the taste of the water.
We don't like drinking the tap water, just because bottled water tastes so much better. But after an all-night party session and your fridge is completely empty, the tap water isn't so bad then. You would never get sick from it though. The only water you will get sick from at Temptation is pool water.
Wow, all I can say is after tying a good one on the night before...i love the ability to take a good tap shot* of about a gallon of water to re-hydrate. It's been awhile since I have had to do that but love not having to worry about it. -Chris * WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS IN INDIA or INDONESIA
Tip the maid and ask for more water bottles - they will totally hook you up! I only drank the bottled water and was fine. The ice in the drinks there is just fine as well.
We don't drink it..... this is water that is very different from what we drink at home...and for that reason alone you could have negative results from drinking it....let alone all the other reasons that could be in the water....Why risk it when you don't have too................
I personally drink bottled water at home (Boston).....cant see myself drinking from a tap in a foreign country.
