radar shows lots of rain in May. Does it rain daily for short periods or evening only? I cannot find any weather reports. Heading there June 1
The forecast will almost always say an xx% chance of rain - it's the Caribbean, very common to get a short shower almost daily, but then it gets more hot/humid afterwards lol. In 5 or 6 May trips I think we've only had a full day of rain one time, no matter what the forecast says. If you really want to see the current weather, checkout some of the webcams here - Webcams de México I've been watching this one specifically - Punta Cancún Poniente
Your going in the near future, right? Most simple way I can describe the pool temp and outside temp is: "Hot as balls". The cold you read about is in the winter months.
We are here now and pool temp is a little chilly in the mornings till about noon then it is great.. my wife is always cold so if you are like her at all you will be cold in 80 degree water ha ha If it is to cold, the hot tub is always an option.. not 104 degrees but I bet it's in the 80's and starts getting pretty packed by 5 pm..
Thing to remember here (when people get worried about the forecast) is that if it says 90% chance of rain, it doesn't mean it is going to rain for 90% of the day. It means there is a 9/10 chance of rain at some point in that 24hrs. Most of the time (at this time of year in any case) it could be for 10 minutes and isolated to one solitary cloud making it's way across an otherwise clear as blue sky. I have seen it rain in my back garden, but be still dry in the front. It's down to the humidity, meaning a snap thunderstorm could happen any time. The last month or so the forecast has said 90% chance of rain almost every day and its rained for a total of about 20 hrs - average less than an hour a day, with about 9 hrs of that being one day only. Don't worry about it!
