How to talk wife in 2nd trip this year? HELP!!!

Well we just got back from our trip on April 12th 2012 it was better than our 1st trip in 2011. We only go for 4 short days because of young kids. I am ready to make another reservation for October of this year but my wife looks like i am crazy. Its not the money thing i can swing that. It is about the kids but not sure what else. Help me with anything to change her mind!!!!!

 

Let us know....we cant wait to get back either. April 2013 is a loonnnnggg time to wait my friend.

 

Hard with kids but guess what, one day they will leave for college and not even call you unless they need cash!!! Just kidding. Go as often as you can as one day we will all be old and wish we did!!!!!!!

 

We have went the last 2 Januarys and it's too long of a wait, so we are going in Nov for my birthday and hopefully back for husbands birthday next April. Lucky for us, our girls are grown!

 

Wish I knew what to tell ya - I can't even get the words out of my mouth before wife has dates/prices together. Try showing her pictures - maybe she forgot how much fun it was.:huepfen021:

 

Going back

This will be our 3rd visit. We go every year around Halloween. Great people and lots of fun. Temptations is just the best from their housekeepers/landscapers/entertainers and bar tenders everyone treats you so great. This is the one place you can let yourself go without anyone judging you. We can go as hard as we want or relax as much as we want. The people that visit this resort are from all walks of life from around the world, and all easy going. I recommended this resort to one of my good friends and his companion. They went and fell in love with this resort as well, and will be going back too. Wish I could go back sooner.

 

October is not a great weather month at TTR, it is the peak of hurricane season for Cancun and that area of the Caribbean. We love TTR and had so much fun in January, but we would never return in October, even if it were free - tropical storms and hurricanes shut the place down. If you are going to go to all the trouble to leave your children and talk your wife into another trip, do it when the weather is less likely to be terrible. Just trying to help

 

Tough call with the kids, but if money isn't an issue, then make sure you plan something really fun for the kids as well. I know from experience one of the biggest problems when your parents go away without you is that you're missing out. If you make sure you plan a trip for them, or an outing, or something special then they're not missing out.

dont overly worry about the weather in October...weve been to Cancun and the Carribbean a number of times during October and yes it is hurricane season but the odds are still very low that one will hit where you are on the days you are there.
